Traditional outsourcing models are based on a vendor’s ability to hire a large number of “trainee” engineers and deploy them with basic training on client engagements. While this helps achieve scale, clients face the consequences in the form of low productivity and unpredictable quality. Lagozon‘s outsourcing model is specifically designed to deliver higher quality & productivity to our clients. The model is based on deep and intensive, customer-specific training program that is mandatory for all resources before they are deployed to customer engagements.

Co - founder and CEO

Dr. Vipul Vashisht, Ph.D.

As CEO for Lagozon Dr. Vipul Vashisht plays a key role in defining the company strategy and direction to maintain its leadership in the industry. He is responsible for ensuring success of complex technology transformation programs and delivering business outcomes to customers. In addition, Dr. Vipul oversees Lagozon’s global alliances and project management consulting practices.

In his last assignment as Group Director – Technology at IRT Digital Analytics, he played a key role in driving the business analytics COE to newer heights and was instrumental in setting up Advanced Analytics and Microsoft Azure practice. Dr. Vipul was also part of Board of Directors for IRT India.

Prior to that, he held key leadership positions at Polaris Consulting (Virtusa India), where he served for 10 years. In his role as Vice President, he was responsible for managing complex programs in BFSI domain. He was promoted as one of the youngest Vice President at Polaris and was awarded Global Excellence Trail Blazer Leadership award. Prior to joining Polaris, Dr. Vipul has worked for multiple leading organizations such as Tech Mahindra, McAfee, and Sopra Steria.

Dr. Vipul is passionate about academics and professional certifications. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering from Nagpur University, a master’s degree in Software Systems from BITS Pilani and a Ph.D. in Software Engineering using Artificial Intelligence technology. He also holds multiple professional certifications in areas of project management and software quality, including PMP, RMP, ACP, CSQA, CSTE, CSM and SAFe. He has presented research work in AI at IEEE and Springer conferences and have published multiple research papers in international journals. He has been a sought-after speaker on subjects related to Business Intelligence / Artificial Intelligence at CIO forums and top universities. He plays a number of advisory roles for the universities on industry-academics collaboration and industry readiness initiatives for both faculty and students.

Gaurav Uttam

Gaurav Uttam heads Technology and Solutions group at Lagozon. This group is responsible for building an innovative and scalable delivery platform powered by tools, automation and predictive analytics to achieve business goals. This scalable platform will help organization to deliver innovative solutions to global customers with speed, quality and predictability.

Gaurav is a Technology Evangelist with more than a decade of experience in successfully delivering top-notch project implementations. He is known for his uncanny ability to balance customer advocacy & commitments and organizational interests. He brings in varied professional experience after having led large teams delivering multi-million-dollar IT solutions to customers in Retail, Finance, Pharma, Hospitals, Travel & Leisure, Logistics and Government sectors spread across US, Australia, Singapore, Vietnam, Thailand and Malaysia.

In his last assignment, he served as a Director – Technology at Cloud Icon and earlier at IRT Digital Analytics, where he worked for 10 years. He was responsible for enhancing customer experience through delivery excellence and employee engagement. He successfully build and led a large team of business analytics and cloud CRM professionals across delivery centers in Noida, Mumbai, Chennai and Pune and onsite client locations. Gaurav Uttam also served as a part of board of directors for Cloud Icon.
