Lagozon Privacy Policy


At Lagozon, we are committed to protecting the privacy of your personal information while using our websites, products or services. In this Privacy Policy (the “Policy”), Lagozon sets out how we collect, create, share and use personally identifiable information and personal data, including information that you provide to us on our websites where this Policy is posted (the “Sites”). 

Sometimes, we do need information to provide services that you request and this statement of privacy explains data collection and use in those situations. Lagozon Technologies and its affiliated entities are collectively referred to in this Policy as “Lagozon,” “we,” or “us.” Please read the complete Policy. By using our Sites, you consent the collection, creation, sharing and use of information as described here. 

Scope of this Policy 

This Policy applies only to personal information collected by Lagozon through software or mobile app installation or use of, or visitation to, Lagozon Sites and does not apply to any other information collected by Lagozon through other means. If you have other agreements with Lagozon governing Lagozon products and services, then those agreements control with regard to the subject matter of those agreements. 

As a convenience to visitors to our Sites, we may provide links to other websites that are not governed by this Policy. These linked websites are not under the control of Lagozon and we are not responsible for the protection and privacy of any information which you provide whilst visiting such websites. 

Collecting your Personal Information 

Personal information is information that identifies you individually, such as your name, address, email address, company name, phone number, or other identifying information that is specific to you. 

Personal information is collected by Lagozon on our Sites, for example when you register for such items as events, newsletters, reports, software or documentation downloads, discussion groups. Personal information collected by Lagozon is often limited to your name, email address, language, country or location, but may include other information when needed to provide a service you requested or to support your use of our products. Lagozon may also obtain personal data from third parties, such as third-party website analytics tools. 

Personal information may also be collected from you and created about you if you apply on our Sites for a job with Lagozon. This information is typical job applicant and applicant processing data, such as resume/CV details 

Lagozon may collect and use non-personalized information (mouse clicks, etc.) on an aggregate, anonymized basis for the purpose of monitoring and improving our Sites. We may also automatically collect and store certain anonymized information such as: statistics on your activities on the Sites (date, time, pages viewed, language preferences and length of time on our Sites); information about how you came to and used the Sites; your Internet Protocol (IP) address/MAC address/device identifier, broad geographic location (e.g., country or city-level location) and other technical data collected through cookies, pixel tags and other similar technologies that uniquely identify your browser. We may also collect information about how your device has interacted with our Sites, including use of a website recording service which may record mouse clicks, mouse movements, and page scrolling. Anonymized information we collect about you may become associated with you once you provide your personal information by submitting a form. In such cases, we will treat all such information as personal information. 

Use of your Personal Information 

We may use the personal information we collect from you to: 

  • Make the Sites easier for you to use by not making you enter your personal information more than once; 
  • Help you quickly find software, services or information; 
  • Provide you with products or services that you have ordered; 
  • Help us create and deliver content most relevant to you through location customization, personalized help and instructions, and other ways to personalize your experiences while using the Sites; 
  • Improve your user experience with our Sites, products and services both on an aggregated and individualized basis; 
  • Help us troubleshoot any problems you might experience with our products and services; 
  • If you apply for a job vacancy on the Sites, to assess your application and communicate with you about this as well as any subsequent job offer and onboarding; 
  • Fulfill any other purposes disclosed to you at the time we collect your information or pursuant to your consent; and / or comply with applicable legal requirements, relevant industry standards and our policies. 

We may periodically contact you with promotional or news material about our company and our products which we think you may find interesting using the email address or other contact details which you have provided. To opt-out of generic marketing emails contact at any time, you may send an email to with subject as Unsubscribe. 

Sharing your Personal Information 

If you register for or attend a Lagozon event, seminar or webinar Lagozon may share participant information (e.g. your name, company, and email address) with other participants, organizers or hosts of the same event, seminar, or webinar in order to facilitate the event and the subsequent exchange of ideas. Lagozon may share your contact details with event sponsors where you have consented, e.g. through registration, to these sponsors contacting you regarding their own products or product offerings. If you use or complete training on Lagozon LMS, your training results and data may be shared with the company subscription administrators.  

Lagozon will only share personal information to the extent needed to perform the uses listed in this Policy and will take such steps as are necessary to safeguard personal information. For example, our vendors and partners are required to keep such personal information confidential and not to use it other than for the purposes intended. Lagozon does not sell or rent personal information to third parties unless you have given us permission to do so. 

Lagozon may disclose your personal information, without notice, to comply with legal requirements, including any regulation, in relation to legal proceedings or investigations by governmental or law enforcement agencies, including criminal investigations, or to meet tax or other reporting requirements, including to (a) comply with legal process served on Lagozon or the Sites; (b) protect and defend the rights or property of Lagozon, and, (c) act in urgent circumstances to protect the personal safety of users of Lagozon, its Sites, or the public. 


Lagozon will employ reasonable precautions to protect personal information from loss, misuse and unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration or destruction. Such measures may include the use of password protection and restricting access to personal information to those with a legitimate purpose in receiving the information. Where required by applicable law, Lagozon also has in place data retention controls to ensure that personal data is not kept for longer than is necessary to carry out the purpose for which it was obtained. 

Lagozon takes reasonable steps to help ensure that the personal information is reliable for its intended use, accurate, complete and current. Reasonable steps shall also be taken to accommodate privacy preferences, such as restricting access to the personal information to those who have a legitimate business need to know the information, anonymizing certain information, or assigning codes or pseudonyms when the actual names are not required for the purpose at hand. 

Employees who have access to such personal information shall be trained regarding this Policy, advised that they are responsible for fully complying with the privacy principles articulated in this Policy and instructed that violations of these principles shall result in appropriate discipline up to and including termination. 

While we take reasonable precautions against possible security breaches of our Sites and records, no website or internet transmission is completely secure and we cannot guarantee that unauthorized access, hacking, data loss, or other breaches will never occur. 

Your Rights 

Where allowed by law, you may request access to the personal information Lagozon holds about you, and / or to correct or delete such personal information. You should make the request in writing and Lagozon will respond to that request in line with local laws. 

There may be circumstances when Lagozon is unable to provide access to your personal information. Lagozon may also deny or restrict access for legally permissible reasons, such as situations where the information contains references to other individuals and it is not possible to separate out your personal information, if Lagozon cannot validate the request or where it cannot be disclosed for legal, security, or commercial proprietary reasons. Lagozon will endeavor to advise you of any reason for denying or restricting an access request. 

If an individual becomes aware that the information Lagozon maintains on him or her is inaccurate and is unable to update the information themselves, the individual may contact the individuals listed in the Contact Information section of this Policy.

We do not knowingly collect or solicit Personal Data from anyone under the age of 16. In the event we learn that we have collected Personal Data from a child under the age of 16 without verification of parental consent, steps will be taken promptly to remove that information. Changes to this Privacy Policy 

We reserve the right to modify and update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will bring these changes to your attention should they be indicative of a fundamental change to the processing or be relevant to the nature of the processing or be relevant to you and impact your data protection rights. 

Applicable Law 

The validity and interpretation of this Privacy Policy shall be governed by the laws of the state of Haryana, India , without regard to Haryana’s choice of law principle
